Kumho has announced the expansion of its already fruitful partnership with Daimler AG by supplying tyres for original equipment (OE) fit to the Sprinter range of Mercedes-Benz vans.
Kumho’s laser etching technology was lauded at the recent (February 10) Tire Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence 2010.
Kumho has won an iF Product Design Award for the innovative laser etching technology it launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.

By guiding his Kumho-shod Skoda Fabia WRC to a finely judged second place on the recent (October 3/4) Cork 20 International Rally, Irish rally ace Eugene Donnelly has clinched his fifth Irish Tarmac Rally Championship.
It produces millions of tyres for today’s SUVs, but is acutely aware that such vehicles will have to change dramatically if they are to survive ever greener vehicular legislation.
Victory on last weekend’s Quinton Stages Rally – round 6 of the prestigious BTRDA Gold Star Rally Championship – went to the Kumho-shod Subaru Impreza WRC of Will Nicholls and Nick Broom.
As always, Kumho supplied all the tyres for the meeting –1,000 in total
