Maranello 15 August – The American Grand Am competition continues its relentless schedule as it arrives in Kansas. The FIA GT Championship arrives in Slovakia for the fourth round of its six round season.
In Kansas, Alessandro Balzan will be looking to push hard to move up the drivers rankings from his strong third position, needing just 11 points to take the top spot. He will share the #63 Scuderia Corsa car with Leh Keen. Emil Assentato and Anthony Lazzaro, who currently stand fourth in the championship, will be looking to follow Balzan’s charge from their fourth place in the standings – they share the #69 AIM Autosport FXDD car.
Completing the three car line up for this race are Jeff Segal and Alex Tagliani in the R.Ferri / AIM Motorsport Ferrari – Segal will have his eyes firmly on the podium after his fourth place finish at Road America last weekend. The two hour 45 minute race is flagged away at 8pm ET on Saturday.
The FIA GT championship arrives at the Slovakiaring, AF Corse will field two cars, the first for Fabio Onidi and Filip Salaquarda in the Pro-Am cup and the second for Claudio Sdanewitsch and Michele Rugolo in the Gentlemen’s trophy. The one hour race is set to be flagged off at 14:15 local time in Slovakia.
