- Visitors to the site must “qualify” for access by proving they can appreciate the quirky Cube
Do you have what it takes to get inside the Cube? Nissan’s new urban superstar is no ordinary addition to the range, so only extraordinary people are getting the chance to explore its potential ahead of the UK launch date in January.
As part of a groundbreaking project, Nissan has launched www.cubelist.co.uk. In keeping with the Cube’s innovative design, the website is the home of an exclusive club made up of individuals who appreciate the Cube’s brilliance. To get your name on the CubeList you either need to have been given an access code or log onto the website and answer a series of questions about yourself and your way of life.
Only those individuals judged to have sharp and original taste and who favour quality of life at the expense of urgency will be added to the CubeList. Those who gain access will be given the chance to explore this unique new Nissan through an eye-opening online experience.
Highlights of www.cubelist.co.uk include a 24/7 live video feed taken from a Cube driving around its home city – Tokyo. Three drivers will roam the streets at all times for 6 weeks, exploring any area CubeList members ask them to via a live chat link. Four cameras will give a Cube’s eye view from different angles from both inside and outside.
Crucially, CubeList members will also get the chance to test drive and customise the first Cube models to arrive in the UK ahead of everyone else. There will also be information on all international and UK Cube-related events as well as an Exploration Module to allow members to get to know every detail of the Cube’s character.
One question remains…
…Will you be on the CubeList?
About the Cube
The Cube is not a conventional car. It has turned its back on the average look-a-like model and offers a unique, asymmetrical approach to transport. This is reflected in its design. The 2,530mm wheelbase is long compared to the 3,980mm overall length, meaning the wheels are, in effect, pushed out to each corner. As well as immense interior practicality this provides a confident stance that is described as a ‘bulldog in sunglasses’. The Cube is clever, quirky, witty, fun and uniquely functional. And still totally square.
