SCUDERIA FERRARI MARLBORO – BRAZILIAN GP – HICCUP FREE PRACTICE

Kimi Raikkonen

The first free practice session for the Brazilian GP, which just ended at the Interlagos circuit, was held in a reduced form, due to the weather conditions and the necessity to clean up after a collision of the Renault with Romain Grosjean. Amongst the cars on the track the Red Bulls dominated the short practice session with Mark Webber (1.12.463) and Sebastian Vettel (1.12.932) on the first and third position respectively. Amongst the two Brawn GPs Rubens Barrichello drove the second fastest time in 1.12.874. The Ferrari with Kimi Raikkonen, forced to come into the pit lane just after he had left twice due to the heavy rain, concluded the session with the tenth fastest time in 1.13.321 after 24 laps.

Giancarlo Fisichella drove with 1.13.619 the fifteenth fastest time and 23 laps.

The team is now getting ready for the second session, which will be held in the afternoon, hopefully on a dry track and with better weather conditions.
